Pepi Boutique Hotel (Adults Only) - Rethymno (Crete)

After reading all the lovely reviews, I was utterly shocked. Our room (17) had a filthy bed and the decor was completely outdated. It felt dingy. The staff barely helped when we insisted on leaving early. A complimentary breakfast or at least an upgrade to compensate would have been nice, but alas, I just couldn't receive that.

Very nice staff. Location is excellent being only a couple blocks away from the city center.

The studios are very centrally located in a nice part of the old town. The common/outside areas are small but pretty, and there are some tables/ chairs spread around the patio where you can relax in a nice, quiet environment. The rooms are large, clean, simply but tastefully furnished. Very good value for money.

It was hard to find someone at the reception, but they did leave an emergency number. The shower was a bit small and had a curtain that wasn't very efficient in preventing water from spilling out - it required some skill to keep the bathroom dry.

Charming courtyard pool offered a peaceful retreat.

Very clean room with a nice decoration, recently renovated. We really enjoyed our stay. Moreover, it's in the middle of the old Rethymno town, and close to everything you need (restaurants, cafes, bars, the beach etc). The room was cleaned every day which was a nice surprise

The swimming pool is extremely small so if you plan on using it on your stay you should prefer to book somewhere else. The room could use a balcony

Though billed as self catering there was very limited kitchen equipment, and making a meal would have been difficult.

Pepi Boutique Hotel (Adults Only) is a lovely oasis in Rethymno, boasting beautifully restored rooms and a relaxing garden pool. The friendly staff provided wonderful dining recommendations, while the breakfast featured a good selection of Cretan flavors and fresh juices.

Some rooms may require more storage space.

The breakfasts are delicious and rich with crusty breads and salad made to order, as for instance. Spotless and fancy rooms complete with bathroom, a balcony overlooking the garden, for instance.

Enjoyed the charming courtyard pool that feels like a hidden oasis. Consider arriving early to explore local dining options recommended by the friendly staff.

The hotel is very well located for wandering around Rethymnon, or for exploring Crete. The rooms are clean and well kept up. The hotel is surprisingly quiet given its location.

Forget the pool, it's not much bigger than a big bathtub. I suppose you can cool off of a hot day if you want.

Room was perfect, very nice location. Great atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again.

Didn't have travel leaflets on what to do in the area. Also when given info on what to do some of it was wrong or misleading. Also the internet didn't work in the rooms, had to sit outside to get a connection.

The staff were great. Enjoyed lounging on our large balcony and sipping on fresh orange juice at breakfast every morning. Our dog loved it too!

My wife says that the shower could use a bit of modernization.

the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location!It is downtown in the heart of the old city. Moreover, there is a kitchen with everything you need to cook and this is convenient for summer or long vacation. It is clean and with very nice decoration.

Even though we had booked a superior double room it was not as shown in the photos or as it was stated in the reservation. In particular, there was no living room. The most important disavantage is that there was no ventilation in the bathroom! The room was dark and with moisture
